Professor Edna T. Bernabe, a communication professor, former chairperson of the Department of Broadcast Communication and is said to be the “future dean” of the College of Communication lists down her top 5 music artists of all time.
Professor Edna, also called “darna” by her colleagues and students sang to the tune of “paminsan minsan” as she stated Richard Reynoso as her 5th most favorite artist of all time. Richard Reynoso is a famous singer and actor in the ‘80’s.
Darna’s 4th favorite artist is the concert king, Mr. Martin Nievera. The concert king’s “Kahit Isang Saglit” really touches her heart.
Coming to her 3rd favorite artist is Cliff Richard with his very popular song, Ocean Deep. Cliff Richard is an English singer-songwriter and entrepreneur. He dominated the British popular music scene in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
Down to her 2nd most favorite artist is Stephen Bishop with his song, “It Might Be You”. Stephen Bishop is an American singer-songwriter, actor, and guitarist. He had a major hit in 1977 with the song "On and On", which was a #11 hit in the U.S.; his other hits include "Save It for a Rainy Day," "Everybody Needs Love" and "It Might Be You", the theme from the movie, Tootsie.
And finally, her most favorite artist is no other than David Soul, an American actor and singer, and with his chart topper song, “Don’t Give Up on Us”.
